Mackenzie works hard to plan and negotiate various campaigns for our clients across multiple media types. She started as a Local Broadcast Assistant at Haworth Marketing + Media in Minneapolis, where she learned the ins and outs of the industry and started buying local TV and radio.
Since then, she has expanded her expertise across many media types and has developed an enthusiasm for media buying. Local TV will always be her favorite, but she is excited about the evolving digital world.
Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work on a variety of client types, including retail, finance, restaurants, hospitals, and telecommunications. She loves the variety and enjoys the ability to change up her day with different buys.
In addition to buying media, Mackenzie is an avid media consumer.
Something always has to be on in the background, whether it's a podcast while working, the radio while driving, or the TV while eating. As a murderino, most of the podcasts she listens to are true crime.
Mackenzie also enjoys reading and often swaps books with her co-workers. She is an introvert and typically prefers a game night in, but also enjoys the occasional night out to see a local drag show.
In 2019, Mackenzie needed a change and decided to move to Seattle, even though she had never been there. While she is a Midwesterner at heart, she has fallen in love with Seattle and the mountain views. Mackenzie is a lifelong cat lover and is currently considering adoption.
